Weight loss/Maintain Challenge 2020
What is it: A fun way to challenge yourself to either lose weight or maintain your current weight over the course of 6 weeks.
Why do it: Losing weight or maintaining a healthy weight can prevent or greatly decrease a person’s chances of getting many diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and many cancers. Being healthy also means you're less likely to get sick and more likely to feel better mentally and physically. Also, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the biggest losers! Smaller prizes will be awarded to those that maintain their weight.
When does it start: Weigh in on-site with the health coach (see on-site calendar for specific day), or at the H&W office (please call ahead or text so they know when to expect you), between Monday 11-2-20 and Friday 11-6-20. Participants can get food logs, information on apps for tracking calories, and other weight loss and weight maintaining tips.
When does it end: Weigh in again on-site with the health coach (see on-site calendar for specific day), or at the H&W office (please call ahead or text so they know when to expect you), between Monday 12-14-20 and Friday 12-18-20.
